Thanks Rhonda …. I’ve decided to not fast but to drink vegetable and one fruit with health meals….. I read Eat to Live That is an excellent Book. He said to make vegetables and fruit your main dish….. That sentence helped me!!!! I’m trying to buy His two books Eat For Health but they are so hard to get! Yes, that is it, thank you. The man in the movie was under the supervision of Dr. Furham intitially (Eat for Health) and was seeing a physician every 10 days.

Hi Francine,
Thank you for your post. I have read in the books I referenced as well as other online professionals that if you are diabete you should NOT fast without a doctor’s supervision and some say not to even then. On my recent post I discontinued my fast after 7 days because of lack of energy. I would definitely encourage you to contact a natural doctor or fasting expert if you wish to fast.

I believe the name of the movie is Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. Dr Fuhrman was in the documentary movie. THAT WAS AN INSPIRING MOVIE!!!

I believe I saw that movie that your talking about! It’s called Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. I was so inspired by this movie that I wanted to start fasting, but it’s a little dangerous for me to fast because I have diabetes. I tried it on my own and I really didn’t know what I was doing! Then I saw that you were going to try it THANK YOU!!!! Now I can follow along with doctor supervision.
